Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, was born in Paris France of British parents Jacqueline Luesby Watson and Chris Watson both attorneys. The couple relocated to Oxfordshire when she was five years old and attended the Dragon School. Emma was inspired to become an actor at age six. For several years, she attended the Oxford branch Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. There she learned singing, dancing and acting.
